LAUNCH CITY: DUNDEE

Although my concept isn’t location specific I felt to help me illustrate it fully to the judges it would be easier to use Dundee as a launch city. By showing how the business would work throughout a specific city it will be easier for the judges to understand how it could work on a national/international level.

The idea is that the pods travel around the city to key locations in the business district allowing easy access to professionals on their lunch break or commute.

After studying a selection of offices in the Dundee city centre area I came up with the route shown below.

The pods will stop at 4 different locations at different points throughout the day.

Discovery Quay: Across the road from the train station- very busy with commuters both in the morning and evening.

University Campus Green: Easy access for lecturers and researchers from the Life Science research centre.

City Square/ Outside McManus Gallery: Public squares with lots of offices and other workplaces in close proximity.

KEY: Needs to be convenient and easily accessible for busy professionals.
